Sir, I need you to throw more light on this confusion I have concerning a certain step in one of the solutions you gave us, precisely on vector assignment. In home work 1, number 3 there is an evaluation like this:
(jrCos[ϕ]-irSin[ϕ] ) x k= -irCos[ϕ]-jrSin[ϕ]
However, with my elementary knowledge of use of matrices and also the vector product I learnt in continuum I got this:
(jrCos[ϕ]-irSin[ϕ] ) x k= irCos[ϕ]+jrSin[ϕ]
Please advice.
